Hi Andie, I've been living in Zakynthos now for 2 1/2 years. I think I have adjusted well to life here. Not everything is plain sailing by any means - nothing happens very quickly here which can lead to a lot of frustration when dealing with official offices & departments but you luckily patience has always been an attribute I have been blessed with so you learn to just accept this. I am trying to learn the language but finding it very hard. I get by with basic stuff & it is a huge benefit having a partner here that speaks Greek. Another factor that has helped me to adjust to life is that I have built up a good circle of friends here. Thanks for looking at my blog & leaving your question.
Having moved from the UK to the beautiful island of Zakynthos on 28th July 2006 I hope that this blog will give family, friends and anyone else who stops by, a window on my life out here. Initially a temporary move to test the waters, Zakynthos is now my permanent home.
