A Few More Photos From Athens

I've found some more of my photos from when I went to Athens with Anestis in Feb/March 08 so here are a few:

A Few Random Ramblings & Photos From 2008

At the end of Feb/beginning of March this year I took a trip with Anestis to the Greek capital,Athens. Anestis has previously spent time living in Athens so he knew his way around the city & was able to take me to see the main areas of interest. No trip to Athens would be complete without a visit to the Acropolis & as you can see from the photos below, it was a gloriously sunny day. Although, as you can see, the ancient buildings are surrounded at present by scaffolding, they are still a magnificent sight.

Here are answers to the most obvious questions some of you may have :-)
Yes, Anestis is younger than me but older than he looks :-)
Anestis is originally from Kenya but has lived in Greece for 23 years.
No, he definitely doesn't sell CD's - he has his own bar (Crazy Bar) which is part of the Luna Fun Park/Laser & Paintball arena in Tsilivi.
We got together in December 2007.
When my sister, Anne, came over to celebrate her birthday in May, with my eldest daughter, Rachel & many friends we all had a brilliant night at the Anesti's bar's opening night. Here are a few pictures from that night plus a few others from that same week:

Below - One of the funniest moments from my sister Anne's holiday was watching her numerous attempts to pole dance around a wooden pole at Anesti's bar after she'd had a few drinks. She spent far more time on the floor than on the pole & gave us all some great laughs & I think she enjoyed herself too.

Below - Later that night somehow we both found ourselves dancing on the bar - I can't remember whose idea that was but we were having great fun
